Entrepreneur-Who is one?

The word “entrepreneur” derives itself from the french word entreprendre, which means to undertake. An entrepreneur is anyone who is willing to undertake a venture, with all its risks.

A businessman is different from an entrepreneur. The purpose of the former is to only market the products of the latter. An entrepreneur is enterprising. He comes up with new ideas to market, new products that a consumer might want. He is liable for all the associated risks. A businessman might evolve into an entrepreneur in some time, when his perspective broadens, and his understanding of his clientele becomes better. When his product is marketed, it is sold by other businessmen.
